TAMAFO is a dynamic network of youth serving individuals and partner organizations with a strong interest in Environments, Climate Smart Agriculture and Sustainable agriculture.

The main objective of the TAMAFO is to create awareness, sensitize and build the productive capacity of young people and women on CSA concepts for adaptation, reducing emissions (mitigation) and increasing food productivity in a sustainable manner.

Our objective is to inform, mobilize, advocate and empower the Tanzanian community to collectively raise the national voice in the international climate change debate and take smarter actions to reduce dangerous activities that lead to harmful impacts triggered by climate change.

Capacity Building

Capacity building and development is an important ingredient towards building a climate resilient society. TAMAFO Tanzania provides capacity building to communities, local government, decision and policy makers.

Sustainable Agriculture

We work with Smallholder farmers to develop their capacity as well as pastoralists and fisherfolks and their related livelihood activities´ capacities to produce food needed by the current society and industries in a sustainable manner.

Climate Services

We provide important Climate Information on a local level to enhance capacity to adapt and built resilience against threats uprising form extreme weather and changing weather patterns. These informations helps our people to adapt.

Gender Mainstreaming

Climate change affect resources important to support women and girls. At TAMAFO, we strive to ensure that women and girls are integrated in our projects and are given space to showcase solutions and their capacities are enhanced.
